Policies for Your Personal Log Cabins

Advanced reservations for your log cabin are advisable, and credit card information is necessary at the time of reservation or booking. Balance is due upon check-in.

Cancellations
Notice of cancellations for all log cabins must be given at least 14 days prior to your arrival date or the deposit is forfeited. If cancellation is prior to the 14 days notice, you will receive a full refund minus a $25 processing fee per room on any cancellation.

Cabin Rates
Rates are provided at the time of booking. All cabins are equipped with a dressing room, sink, and vanity adjacent to a full bath.

Area Information for Cabin Lodging

Triangle C Ranch is located on the west end of Stanley. This small town sits on a meadow on the headwaters of the Salmon River, bordered by the towering Sawtooth Mountains, and surrounded on three sides by wilderness. We offer truly spectacular high-mountain scenery of the American West.

Our log cabins face the Sawtooths and are within walking distance of restaurants, grocery stores, tackle shops, and service stations. There is an airstrip one mile from Triangle C.

**Guest transportation available upon request.

Stanley, Idaho is rich in history. The first white men through the area were mountain men, followed by gold miners, their bonanzas, and finally the cattle and sheep ranchers. The town still has a dirt main street (Ace of Diamonds), and the majority of its log buildings were built at the turn of the last century.

Today, Stanley is the Old West at its best. The town has a lot of local color including cowboys and Basque Sheepherders. There is no place quite like Stanley on a Saturday night.

Seasonal Activities:

March and April — steelhead fishing on the Upper Salmon
May and June — wildflowers begin to bloom, making this time of year excellent for hiking.
Mid-June through Labor Day — fishing, horseback riding, float trips, and whitewater rafting
September through mid-October — beautiful warm fall days and cool nights with great fishing
October through the end of November — hunting
December, January, and February — cabins are available upon request

Sit back on the front porch and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Sawtooth Mountains, or take a peaceful walk along one of our many trails. Our handcrafted log cabins have been designed with your relaxation in mind. Contact us to learn more about our policies and area information.

Amenities
Some of our cabins include small kitchenettes complete with stovetops, microwaves, toasters, refrigerators, coffee makers, cooking utensils, and dishes for up to four guests. All cabins come equipped with coffeemakers and adequate preparations for your first pot of coffee, tea, or hot chocolate.

No cooking is allowed inside of the cabins without kitchenettes. However, small barbeques are permitted on the porch. Picnic tables and a large fire pit are available for all of our guests to use. Forest service campgrounds are located nearby for large picnics and barbeques.

Stanley, population 99, is a unique little town that sits on the edge of a meadow (elevation 6,260 feet) that ascends rapidly into the picturesque Sawtooth Mountains. Featuring 78 peaks higher than 10,000 feet, Sawtooth’s peaks rise continuously for 100 miles without a break! Here in this high country from the snow pack and crystal clear lakes begin the headwaters of the Salmon River, the legendary River of No Return, and its tributaries.
